WriteCheck.pro is an independent plagiarism and similarity checker for students. We are not affiliated with Turnitin or the original WriteCheck product. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we do not do with it.

Text you submit for checking

When you paste text into the checker, it is processed to generate a similarity score. We do not store your text after the check is complete. Your content is not saved to any database, not indexed, and not used to train any model.

Data we collect

We collect only the minimum data needed to operate the site: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps). This data is used solely for security monitoring and aggregate traffic analysis. It is not linked to any personal profile.

We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information — because WriteCheck.pro does not require an account.

Cookies

We use only technical cookies — the kind that keep the site working correctly (session state, security tokens). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that follow you across websites.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. Full stop.

Third-party service: getsolved.ai

When you click the CTA to get a full plagiarism report, you are redirected to getsolved.ai. This is a separate, independent service with its own privacy policy and terms. Once you leave WriteCheck.pro, this policy no longer applies. Please review getsolved.ai’s privacy policy before providing any information on that platform.

Your rights

Since we do not retain your submitted text and do not create user profiles, there is typically no personal data for us to retrieve, correct, or delete. If you have a specific request or question about data that may have been collected during your visit, contact us and we will respond promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of WriteCheck.pro after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
